A Shelter in Times of Need

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

Pain is a large part of everyone’s life. It comes in many forms – grief, depression, stress, anxiety, loss, trauma, sexual molestation, abuse (both physical and emotional), physical pain . . . the list goes on and on. Pain became a part of our world as soon as sin entered in. The question is how do we as Christians deal with it? This is an issue I (Rebecca) struggled with early in my walk with the Lord. In fact, almost immediately after I made the decision to make Jesus Christ the total Master over every area of my life. Psalm 91 was quickly pointed out to me as the solution. [Read more…]

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

Drained. Sapped. Empty. Whatever adjective you’d like to use . . . the message is the same: we’re running on empty. Just when we begin to grasp onto whatever is left of hope, Doubt comes knocking at the door. But, when we find doubt knocking, we should be sure and let Faith answer. [Read more…]

Sowing Seeds of God’s Word

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

Did you realize that the harvest of your tomorrow depends on the seed you sow today? What you will be doing in the future depends on the type of seed you sow now.

In fact, what you are experiencing now is due to the kind of seed you sowed in the past. If you do not like your present harvest, and do not want more of the same this year, you will have to change your seed. [Read more…]

Have you Stabbed Anybody Lately?

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

The language we use to communicate with another is like a knife. In the hands of a
careful and skilled surgeon, a knife can work to do great good. But in the hands of a
careless and ignorant person, a knife can cause great harm, cutting into ribbons instead of providing for healing. Exactly as with our words. [Read more…]
