God’s Fire, Health, and Other Major Insurance Policies

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

By Daniel Yoder

The question is “Are You Fully Covered?” It’s funny we have insurance for everything in our lives but do we have SPITITUAL COVERAGE? You might answer and say I’m saved that’s all the insurance that I need! I’ll admit that is vital, but your standard of living here on Earth is dependent upon the types of coverage you carry. An example of some of your insurance you carry is on your car. You might only carry liability and not full coverage, so if your car gets wrecked or stolen your policy won’t cover you. If you want your car fixed or if you still owe on it, you are out luck the money comes out of your pocket not the insurance companies. Now on the other hand if you carry full coverage and this happens you are fully covered. So you see you need fill coverage. Today I want you to look at “The Kingdom Insurance Policy” and see the various types of you need to survive in this life. But first before we look at this type policy I must introduce you to the CEO and owner of The Kingdom Insurance Company, JESUS CHRIST. Now in order to qualify for this spiritual insurance coverage, you must first repent from other worldly coverages and all worldly ways, you must confess Jesus Christ as Lord over all your life, and believe in your heart, that GOD raised him (JESUS)from the dead see (Romans 10:9). Now once you have done this, then you receive The Kingdom Insurance Policycoverage which full is coverage at no additional charge. But for many of us, unless we pay our premiums then our life will reflect lapses in the various types of coverage that this policy offers to the beholder. [Read more…]

God Can Use Your Prayers

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

By Daniel Yoder

Since God is sovereign, do my prayers really matter all that much? Isn’t God going to do what He wants anyway? Most people believe just that, even without admitting it. They prove they believe this in their prayer life, or lack of prayer life.

Can my prayers actually change things? Can God’s will on earth be frustrated and not accomplished if I don’t pray? Does God need me to pray or does He just want me to pray? Some would argue an omnipotent God doesn’t “need” anything, including our prayers. But these and other questions deserve answers. [Read more…]

The Language of Our Tears

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

By Daniel Yoder

Without uttering a sound, tears can sometimes communicate more than spoken words. Their silent wet trails upon our cheeks possess a language all their own. Tears are a universal language that all can understand. No interpreter is needed when tears begin to express themselves. Depending on the circumstances, they speak hurt, joy, concern, love, loneliness, fear, memories of good and bad, accomplishments, and a host of other experiences and emotions. [Read more…]

Find it Hard to Forgive?

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

By Daniel Yoder

Wait Upon The Lord

Forgive him? Are you kidding? After what he has done to me? I can never forgive him!” Does that sound familiar? There is a great tragedy when we cannot forgive one another or even our own selves. People who do not forgive are in a bondage that stifles their ability to love and accept those who deserve their love most. It cripples marriages and is passed on from generation to generation, (family feuds), and finally it chokes out the abundant life Jesus promised. [Read more…]

Wait Upon the Lord

If there’s anything in this life that we need more of, it’s patience. I don’t think there is a single person on the earth today that would say that they have “plenty of patience.” If you’re standing in line at the convenience store, you can at least see how many people are ahead of you, how far you have to go, and then determine what measure of patience you need to muster up. In this situation, we can clearly see that there will be an end to the need for our patience. We can find ourselves stretching our patience just a little bit more when we see that we’re “next.” Or maybe as we’re anticipating a trip or a family gathering that we’re anxious about . . . we can find patience as we’re able to mark off the days, seeing that each day brings us closer to the anticipated event. An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity. Proverbs 19:28

The Lord is a God of truth (Deut. 32:4). He demands honesty and truthfulness in all your dealings. You must tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth, especially when you speak about others. Those who deceive or lie when they are witnesses show their scorn of God and justice and a greedy appetite for sin. They will have their reward, for both God and men despise such wicked fools. (Proverbs 19:29, 22:10, 24:9 and Is 29:20-21) [Read more…]

God, What am I Doing Here?

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

By Daniel Yoder

Have you ever asked yourself the question since becoming a Christian and going to work in His Kingdom: “Lord what am I doing here? What’s the use? Did I make the right decision in becoming a Pastor, an Evangelist, a Teacher or even a Missionary?”

After all everybody we minister to seems to be unresponsive. They are so taken up with their own lives, and become self-centered. Does it seem to you at times that you’re on a mission that is hopeless? [Read more…]

Wanting to be Understood

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

By Daniel Yoder

Every person alive craves to be understood. When we feel understood, we feel secure; we feel safe. We particularly want to be understood at times when we’ve done something that other people might see as out of bounds, or even against the law. That’s why someone whose car has been stopped by a state trooper will often immediately roll down the window and start explaining just why he was driving too fast. “Officer, I guess I must have been speeding, but my speedometer doesn’t work! It started acting crazy yesterday, and I can’t get it fixed until day after tomorrow. You’re not going to give me a ticket are you?” [Read more…]

Is Your God Able?

September 9, 2014 by Harvest Warriors

“Oh Daniel, is your GOD, whom ye serve, ABLE to deliver you out of the mouth of the LIONS?”

This is the question for each one of us today to consider – Is our God ABLE to save us, “because your adversary the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)

King Darius, the foolish king who passed the law to force all to worship him, didn’t realize that his foolish pride would lead to having the best man in his court thrown to the lions.

“And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, ‘Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?'” Daniel 6:20

What was Daniel’s answer? “My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him: and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” Daniel 6:22 [Read more…]
